Muslims Cry for Osama

During his announcement of the death of Osama bin Laden, President Obama commented that this is not a war on Islam, as Bin Laden was not a Muslim leader and only represented a small extremist minority.
So we would expect Muslims to join in the celebrations, and pass out candy because the “Hijacker of the Religion of Peace” is dead. Yet events this past week paint quite a different picture.
The Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt condemned what they called the “assassination” of the al Qaeda leader by U.S. forces.
Muslims in Silwan, next to the City of David neighborhood in Jerusalem rioted over Bin Laden’s death, while Hamas Prime Minister Ismail Haniya denounced the killing of the “freedom fighter”.
Meanwhile, radical Muslims in Indonesia hailed Bin Laden as a “martyr”.
Seems like this small extremist minority is not so small after all…

I agree with you!! Great Point!! I just did a video that explains that Radical Islamis spreading "Hate" toward Jews and Christians. I explained that this theoliogy is very simialr to what the Crudsaders were doing 1,400 years ago........The problem is the Radical Islamic groups are using facts from 1,400 years ago to start this hatred all over again....
That's not an intelligent concluding statement and excessively myopic. I follow your blog and appreciate many entries but this one is misguided. The overwhelming number of Muslims around the world are breathing a collective sigh of relief and celebrating alongside all those that support liberty and justice. You are taking very select samplings for one, and even so, they are relatively small in number. Furthermore, Hamas/MB making those statements are highly concerning, especially for Muslims, but you are conflating Islamists with Islam/Muslims.
With peace, Ibrahim
Are you saying we should not confuse Islam with Islamist (those who follow Islam)? Your critizism of this post lack evidence and is at it's face illogical. Where are the peace loving Muslims passing out cake and candies on the streets like when OBL toppled the towers? I sure haven't seen them.
