On November 5th, a group is planning to protest against “FBI terrorism.” 1,000 attended the funeral services for Imam Luqman Ameen Abdullah on October 31. He was shot by FBI agents a few days earlier. Groups to demonstrate at Federal Building, a workers websites reports:
“In response to the assassination of Imam Abdullah, the Michigan Emergency Committee Against War & Injustice (MECAWI) has called for a mass demonstration outside the federal building in downtown Detroit on Nov. 5, from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. The demonstration is designed to both condemn the assassination of the Islamic leader as well as demand an independent investigation into his death at the hands of the FBI.”
What is FBI terrorism anyways? Why was the Imam armed?
We need to be grateful that the FBI is working to protect us from more terrorist attacks. Attend the protest and show your support for the FBI. Thank them for putting their lives at risk every day so that we are safe.

I have never heard of the FBI randomly shooting people for giggles, so I'll bet there was more to this story than him having a gun. This isn't about gun control, its about protecting Americans from crazy folks who also have guns. Getting caught up in an argument about gun control ignores the real issue. If you act like a crazy fool and threaten the lives of others or worse, cause the deaths of other innocent folks just trying to get by from day to day, I don't care if you're blue and eat flowers, you're a nuisance to the rest of us. I say job well done FBI.

Yes, we all have a God Given right to carry arms. I agree about that. But firing on the FBI, you reap what you sow. Yes we have a right to defend ourselves, it is God given, but if we use that right to spread violence, then we should expect violence. It saves the cost of a trial anyway.
i agree with the above commenter. the 2nd ammendment is still working so far in america. any one of us who has not had a felony (or lives in new york) can apply for and carry a gun. guns don't kill people. people kill people.
What do you mean "what was he doing armed?" My husband is a Baptist preacher and even I carry a gun. These days, you need to be able to protect yourself. Detroit is a very rough city, and this occurred in one of the worst parts of town. Let's not criminalize our right to bear arms, The right to carry is and should be avaliable to ALL U.S. Citizens, no matter what their religion is. We all have the God-Given right to defend ourselves.
