Update: Rifqa Bary, Where is She Now?

Some of you may be wondering, whatever happened to Rifqa Bary? It was almost a year ago when we first heard her name. We learned of the story of a girl who converted to Christianity and then ran away from her Muslim parents, to Florida. She was then brought back to Ohio, the state where her disapproving parents lived. They fought in court to see her, and she wound up living in foster care, awaiting her 18th birthday, which is now tomorrow.
A judge has recently granted Rifqa Bary’s request to block a reunion with her parents. The next phase in her saga is that as an illegal immigrant, she fears deportation to Sri Lanka, where her life will likely be endangered as she converted to Christianity. Makes you wonder why and how she got cancer, so young - think someone made sure she got it, somehow? And just whom might that be, ya think? Certainly someone who does not like her new conversion from muslimhood to christianity.
