The Marriot Hotel in Hamburg, Germany, agreed to host the Iran Business Forum that will help promote Iran-German business relations. The event explores, "“investment possibilities in the northwestern provinces of Iran,” undermining international economic sanctions leveled against Iran for their aggressive nuclear ambitions.

The event's keynote speaker is Iran's German ambassador, Sheikh Attar, who "represents a criminal regime that flouts international law in developing an illegal nuclear weapon, brutally represses its own people and is the world's leading state sponsor of terrorism." Iranian Kurds and human right supporters said that Ambassador Attar supported a massacre against Kurds when he was governor of Kurdish and Azerbaijani provinces.

The group, United Against Nuclear Iran, wrote a letter to the Marriott executives and threatened, "UANI will take action against the Marriot hotel chain worldwide.  UANI will call on its activists to peacefully protest your properties, and will call for a general public boycott of all Marriot properties."

Should the Marriott chain be held responsible for pursuing their own business interests over international concerns? 

Most of us celebrated Veterans Day (a.k.a. Armistice or Remembrance Day) with a moment of silence in honor of soldiers who have served our countries in the spirit of Freedom, Humanity, and Goodness. Many of us wore a red poppy in memory of fallen soldiers. Want to know how three Muslim students celebrated?

"Three Muslim protesters who burned a giant poppy during the Armistice Day silence in London were last night unrepentant about the sickening incident which sparked nationwide revulsion...The men, all in their 20s, said they would happily burn poppies again and will not stop campaigning until Sharia law is implemented in the UK." This is the price we pay for freedom. We are forced to tolerate those who hate freedom and fight it. They want England under the chains of Shariah law where women and non-Muslims will be relegated to dhimmi (servitude) status. In our free country, Muslims could spit on our face and disgrace our soldiers. But what could happen to us under Shariah law? Our hands and feet chopped off if we don't convert or if we marry Muslim women perhaps? Sounds like an enticing, fair exchange? LET'S TELL THEM NO!

Mailed printer toner cartridges filled with chemicals planned to explode midair on its way to Chicago--- wow, al-Qaeda is sure getting creative and desperate to keep on hurting and scaring. The packages were traced back to Yemen where U.S. born al-Qaeda operative Anwar al-Awlaki is believed to be hiding out, keeping busy by inciting hate and inspiring such terror plans (recall the underwear bomber last Christmas). Luckily, the mailed bomb packages were intercepted in England and Dubai after a tip from Saudi Arabia.

With this latest scare, there's been pressure on Yemen to crack down on festering terrorism. Al-Awlaki has been on the CIA's hit list since April and now the Yemen government has finally brought a charge against him, in absentia.

Just take a moment to appreciate the breathtaking international scope of all of this-- from Yemen to Chicago, stopped in Dubai and England, involving the Saudis. Terrorism really does transcend boundaries. The critical question is: Has global counter-terrorism become as effective and coordinated to fight back? This time we've been lucky... who's to say next time? And where's the United Nations in all of this? Shouldn't the UN be more proactively spearheading and improving global counter-terrorism efforts?

I was tempted to laugh at the image the above title induces-- but I quickly remembered that this is no laughing matter.

Mohammed has become the most popular name for newborn boys in Britain.
It shot up from third the previous year, overtaking Jack, which had topped the list for the past 14 years but was relegated to third spot.
Olivia topped the list for little girls for the second year in a row, behind Ruby and Chloe.
A total of 7,549 newborns were given 12 variations of the Islamic prophet Mohammed’s name last year, such as Muhammad and Mohammad.

Will these children ever assimilate into British culture? Will they be loyal to their country and the given freedoms...or live to kill in the name of a Mohammed-seduced ideology?  

What compelled France to pass the Burqa ban? Is it security measures so nothing dangerous lurks beneath those bulky full-body coverings? Is it a message that the French are finally putting their foot down against foreigners and don't want their country to become France-stan?

Either way, take a look at bin Ladin's tit for tat logic:  "If you deemed it your right to ban (Muslim) women from wearing the hijab, then should not it be our right to expel your invading men by striking their necks?" bin Laden said.

These radical Muslims sure are frighteningly violence prone. I hope France keeps a serious face and straight posture-- and does NOT show fear in the face of these terror monsters.

There's something very serious happening in Kazakhstan-- and probably many other countries. And it's time teachers, principals, and education departments step up and grab a hold of the situation.

"(T)he growth in Islam’s popularity in Kazakhstan is clear, and this is normal,” Kazakhstan Academy of Sciences fellow Dimash Saurayev said. “So far, Islam, Christianity and other faiths have existed side by side quite peacefully in Kazakhstan. In order to preserve this peace, we must confront extremist movements.” Extremists are targeting teenagers because “they do not yet have fully formed ideals and they are easier to manage,” Saurayev said. “Therefore, we need social programmes to repel such influence.”

One smart mom noticed her son was hiding books under his bed. She found material on the outlawed organization, Hizb ut-Tahrir. His classmate had given it to him. Mom promptly spoke to her teenage boy and sent him to a psychologists. I understand her. Just like you wouldn't want your children tainted by pornographic material, I doubt you'd want your children tainted by religious radicals who live to kill and maim others. If such material is being spread in school, teachers and administration need to do something about it. Now what type of effective measures could be implemented?

"Iran's Defense Minister Ahmad Vahidi has described the spread of the Stuxnet virus in the country as 'computer terrorism,' carried out by the domineering powers. "

Provided that Stuxnet was really created to infect and set back the Bushehr's nuclear power plant, Iran's defense minister certainly has a sense of humor. The world is suffering from an Iranian regime that breeds radicalism and sponsors terrorism and who now seek more terrible powers with possesion of nukes... BUT it is Stuxnet that is branded "terrorism"!

You know how it goes when things become so much a part of your life, you almost forget to ask yourself how it began and why it exists?

Take the habit of dragging my feet to the door when Aunt Gertrude comes to visit. I think I've been doing that since I could walk, and I almost forgot why I began doing it until...that one time I didn't drag my feet and got to the living room in time for a super wet kiss and overbearing embrace. I was quickly reminded why and how I developed the habit.

Now take the habit of radical Muslims thirsting for European blood. We've see that too much in recent headlines. This one astute writer reminds us why it exists and how it developed (see full article here) :

The Europeans are being targeted for the same reason the Americans are: for being "infidels" and enemies of Islam and for the Western values they represent. They are being targeted because of their failure to transform into Islamic countries. Those who think that solving the Israeli-Arab conflict will undermine Al-Qaeda and its allies do not know what they are talking about.

Bin Laden, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Hizbullah Secretary-General Hasan Nasrallah are actually waging a war against Arabs and Muslims who are involved, directly and indirectly, in the Middle East peace process.

Al-Qaeda was established in 1989 in Afghanistan, and not in the West Bank and Gaza Strip or any Arab country.

Al-Qaeda was one of the by-products of the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan, and not the creation of the Jewish state in mandatory Palestine in 1948.

Al-Qaeda was established with one goal in mind: to defeat the all the non-believers, including the US and its Arab, Muslim and Western allies.

Bin Laden and his friends want to kill Europeans not because of settlement construction in the West Bank ,or the blockade on the Gaza Strip; they want to kill Europeans because Europeans are not Muslims and have different values.

Are Europeans going to let Muslims get their way? From the way politician and valiant European Islamisation fighter Geert Wilders is being treated...I'm really nervous.

British Muslim police could refuse duty to protect the Israeli Embassy. By extension, what about a Jew?

Good point, but crazily it should be obvious. Apparently not in Britain. When is religious sensitivity going too far? Wake up Brits!
