Faisal Shahzad

Thirty year old U.S. citizen, Faisal Shahzad was arrested last night at JFK. Hailing from Pakistan, Shahzad failed to detonate a car full of explosives in Times Square.

We initially heard about this incident a few days ago but wanted to hold off on commenting as to not jump to conclusion. We did not want to say – look here is another example of homegrown terrorism, so we waited. Lo and behold all of our assumptions were confirmed – al Qaeda linked terrorism strikes again, no surprises here. What will still be surprising if the media makes this villain out to be a lone-wolf (yet again).
