Jihadists Recruiting for Jihad
A few weeks ago, Rep. Peter King held hearings about Islamic radicalization in U.S. prisons.
This issue – jihadists recruiting for jihad in prisons – is strongly felt in Indonesia. The number of radicals in Indonesian prisons has greatly increased in the past decade as the government has cracked down on extremist groups. And an investigation by the Associated Press confirms that doing jail time in Indonesian prisons gives extremists time to proselytize and plot jihad attacks.

Rep. King’s hearings were met with much criticism, but the reality in Indonesian prisons may not be so different from that in jails across America.
