Yesterday 500 Americans atteneded a Hizb ut-Tahrir (a global Sunni network with reported ties to Al Qaeda) conference entitled "The Fall of Capitalism and the Rise of Islam." Today, reports state that dozens showed up to protest. Why were there only dozens? Is it because no one knew about it as there was so little media coverage? Why is the media being silent? Where are the concerned citizens? We cannot sit by while organizations recruit from within our own backyards.  Have we learned nothing from the Minnesota/Somalia case last week? We need to inform ourselves and others. We need to take action.
