This is the statement that sits on the bottom of the “Islam on Capitol Hill” website. This September 25th, 50,000 Muslims are expected to gather in Washington to join in a day of national unity. What exactly the meaning behind “Our Time Has Come” is unclear. What is clear is this is an opportunity. It is an opportunity for Muslims to join together and speak out. Speak out against terrorism. Speak out against persecution through Sharia. Speak out against honor killings. Speak out against teaching hatred. This is an opportunity to show fellow Americans how much each individual there loves America as a free nation which allows them to practice their religion of choice. When the time comes this September 25th, we’re waiting to see what happens.
