The reader, tarawa1943, says a lot about what's bad in the Koran. He/she lists off a host of things bad in it, supposed reasons for why he/she thinks no one should even read it. However, I would say that none of you should listen to this person. No one should choose to read or not read this, or any other work, on the basis of this one random person's opinion. I've never read the Koran. I've only heard of things that people have said about it (positive and negative). It just doesn't interest me to read it at the moment. It doesn't fail to garner my interest not because I'm a Christian, which I am, but because it just doesn't.

However, ignorance is not bliss, in my opinion. Ignorance is dangerous. It's ignorance that allows so many people in this country (USA) to blindly follow the voices of the most prominent names in this country, voice that cause so much pain and suffering, so much hatred and violence. It is the same ignorance that led to the Crusades, the Inquisition, the Witch Hunts of old.

Tarawa1943 is obviously an extremely biased person, to say the very least, so I would invite anyone that wants to take a look at the work known as the Koran to do so and form your own opinions rather than listening to what someone else has to say about it... or don't read it. But if you're going to have an opinion, have one. Don't have someone else's and call it your own.
