Given our current leadership, it is unlikely in the extreme that the US or EU or any other country or entity will attack Iran, with the possible exception of Israel.

Israel certainly does not wish to go to war again with Iran, Syria and Hizbullah, Hamas and the other loonies from the Gaza Strip, but what choice does she have? If Israel waits for the West and the rest of the world to eliminate the threat Iran poses to the entire world, Israel will be the first to go. They are the canary in the coal mine, but this canary is not suicidal.

War will be the last resort, but if it does come to war, I doubt very seriously that it will be conventional. Israel simply cannot fight on so many fronts with Iran involved. I think the best thing for Israel to do is wait until the yakking in DC stops in December, and the next threat out of Ahmadinejad after that should be the trigger to attack the atomic facilities with nukes, and Tehran by brute air power so that the Supreme Leader is turned to dust along with Ahmadinejad.

The only thing any Arab country understands is overwhelming force. If Russia tries to stop Israel and defends Iran, Israel should attack Moscow as the US attacked Hiroshima and Nagasaki. When your life, the life of your families, your country are at stake, there is not much choice but to fight back with all you have. Half steps and dialogue are what allowed Iran to get this far. It should never have happened.

Until the West gets over it's political correctness in terms of recognizing Islam for what it really is, Islam will continue to get stronger and more embedded in our society and the faster they will realize their terrible goal of domination of the world and forced conversion to Islam, taking all of us back to the middle ages.
