Detroit Muslims Mourn Terrorist Cleric

Shi’ite Muslims in Detroit were in mourning last week for the Ayatollah Sayyed Mohammed Hussein Fadlallah, a world-renowned Lebanese cleric who died on July 4.
Three Shi’ite mosques conducted memorial services for six nights, with thousands of area Muslims attending.
That ought to give law enforcement and government officials pause, since Fadlallah was a bloodthirsty jihadist cleric who hated America and Israel, and approved of the 1983 Hezbollah attacks on a U.S. Marine barracks and the American Embassy in Beirut that killed over 300.
If what the mainstream media constantly tells us about Islam and Muslims is true, wouldn’t thousands of Muslims in Detroit be denouncing Fadlallah, rather than mourning him? It is constantly demanded of us, on pain of charges of “Islamophobia” and bigotry, that we assume without examination that most Muslims in the U.S.—all but a few “wackos,” such as are found in “any religious group”—are loyal citizens who love constitutional liberties, abhor jihad terrorism, and have no intention of bringing Islamic law here, at any time or in any way, in whole or in part, now or in the future.
So why do so many Detroit-area Muslims love Fadlallah? Shouldn’t patriotic, pluralistic American Muslims oppose such a man, and not engage in such a public display of mourning, simply as a matter of principle? It certainly seems so from Fadlallah’s public record.
Imam Mohammed Elahi of the Islamic House of Wisdom in Dearborn Heights last week called Fadlallah a “man of peace, man of justice ... a man of antiterrorism and antiviolence.” There are some very compelling indications, however, that Elahi’s characterization of Fadlallah was about as accurate as calling Barack Obama an advocate of the free market.
In the words of one the ayatollah’s most notorious admirers, former CNN Mideast editor Octavia Nasr (who lost her job after she lauded Fadlallah on Twitter after he died), Fadlallah “hated with a vengeance the United States government and Israel,” “regularly praised the terror attacks that killed Israeli citizens,” was a Holocaust denier, and was “designated a terrorist by the U.S. Treasury Department.”
None of that seemed to impress the mourners in Detroit. One Detroit Free Press story noted that area Muslim leaders disputed the accuracy of some of these claims about Fadlallah, but they didn’t explain how the false information gained so much currency as to hoodwink the Treasury Department and so many others.
In August 2006, Fadlallah encouraged Hezbollah jihadists who were fighting against Israel: “You are moving ... to reach a new victory for the nation and to defeat the American and Zionist political pride and all the enemies of freedom in the region and the world. You are the soldiers of the Arab and Islamic nation and your struggle will bring victory to Arabs, Muslims and the oppressed.” He characterized their fight as a “new battle of Khaibar.”
As I explain in my book The Truth About Muhammad, Khaibar was less a battle than a massacre: Muhammad, the prophet of Islam, suddenly appeared at the Arabian oasis of Khaibar, which was inhabited by Jews, and he and his men began killing in earnest. Thus when modern-day jihadists invoke Khaibar, they are recalling an aggressive, surprise raid by Muhammad, which resulted in the final eradication of the once considerable Jewish presence in Arabia. To the jihadists, Khaybar means the destruction of the Jews and the seizure of their property by the Muslims.
Not surprisingly, Hezbollah’s chief Hassan Nasrallah eulogized Fadlallah as a “merciful father.” Also not surprisingly, Fadlallah was a dear friend of Iran’s Ayatollah Khomeini, the architect of the Iranian revolution. Yet thousands of Muslims in the Detroit area turned out to pay final respects to this man.
Could it be that we’ve been sold a bill of goods about what Muslims in the U.S. really think, and need to examine that subject much more closely?
Could the knee-jerk assumption on the part of government, media and law enforcement that all Muslims in America are “moderates” who abhor jihad terrorism and work against it, be false. And could it be leading us to expose ourselves to unnecessary vulnerability? A great deal could be riding on the answer to that question.

What do you think, should individuals have the right to mourn whomever they choose? Do terrorists deserve to have tears fall when they die?

These issues often come down to how people will be seen in the eyes of others. Phobia get's the hyphenation chic treatment; almost allowing people an indifference.
I posit that it is not Islamophobia that is thee issue. Phobias are "irrational fears".
Let's look at the reality.
We have people who by acquiescence are indulging in Islamophilia; blindly, passionately and indifferent to the risks. The outcome is a predatory infection that is metasticizing at an astonishing rate. (I'll spare us all the permutations of nine-months preganciesprojected in half-genration cycles.)

Just some thoughts,
Thanks for all you do.
Just watch this www.blip.tv/file/1382254 Now is the time to wake up or else it will be too late. Muslims only understand brute force when use against them or else they will walk over you.
Muslims 90% are one way or other terrorist supporters. American Politicians are turning closed eyes on Muslims activities within the US territories. For some unforseen reasons the whole European and Western countries are scaring one way or other from Muslims that is why nobody is caring what is happening around the world. Muslims are spreading fastly by breeding than any other ethnicity, and their aim is to dominate the world by the way of Westerners system, gradually increasing and dominating the area where they are settling, until such a time when the Westerners wake up then it will be too late.
Mourning like love is an internal state. That a person mourns a cleric who spouted Jew-hatred implies agreement with the message of the cleric. Unless they were totally duped...but in this case, the record is pretty open and clear with loads of evidence. Nobody is ALL bad...I'm sure the guy did some things to help his followers.
In the USA you are allowed to mourn anyone you want to...go ahead, enjoy. Homever, mourning a terrorist leader in the U.S. is comparable to mourning Hitlers death during WW II.
The so called "moderate Muslim" of the U.S. are only showing their true colors to the rest of us. Let them mourn their MURDERERS...hopefully this will help show the current administration Muslims' true agenda here in the U.S.
nothing more, nothing less. This is how these people conduct themselves all across this planet. The difference is this time it is happening right under our noses, and we shall see whether it is accepted as "businness as usual" by the mainstream media, thus confirming their traitorous nature, or whether anyone will stand up and respond aright.
I am curious to know whether these snakepit mosques enjoy the 501c3 Federal Tax exemption most churches enjoy.... if so, they clearly are on about a very political agenda. If a candidate for public office even speaks in the typical christian church, SOMEONE will have a whinge at the IRS to revoke their tax exempt statue. My own church, when forming up, elected to NOT take this exempt status. For most of us, that status also brings strings. Or chains. However, given the tenor of the present administration, nothing will come of that. Somehow they seem to be exempt much more than taxes.
There should not be any public mourning allowed for such a despicable person as this terrorist!
It definitely gives a strong message to government bodies that say Islam is a religion of peace if its followers are mourning a man like this!
Wake up everyone!!
That says why a terrorist Cleric is moaned. And when the dots are traced they read to the attrocities commited by Europe post-W.W.II:
1. The genocidal deed of corrupting the Balfour, and using the term 2-state *COMPROMISE* by carving off 80% of a tiny land, leaving half desert, and surrounded by hordes with swords. Theis makes 'ALL' Christians guilty by their silence and acceptance of this genocodal crime on the Jews. It is not just immoral, but illegal, perpetrated under extreme duress when the Jews were totally helpless.
2. The Re-dumping of the name Palestinean from Jews to Muslims, and from the Jewish homeland of Judea - to the Islamist ownership of this name. Europe did this act with the clear knowledge what it represented.
3. The shameless math of now calling a 3-state as a 2-state of what is left of Israel.
What happened is Frank N. Stein has made a U-Turn, and it is Europe, not just Israel, being overwhemed with the hords they planed for the Jews.
Bottom line: Restore the Balfour - even if Israel does not ask this. For the sake of Europe, not Jews. Europe is facing disaster - without the Muslims they go belly up economically - with the Muslims Eurostan happens. But once all good God fearing Christians accept they have acted in an evil way towards Jews - and they act to redress their crimes - the tide may change with a strong easterly wind.
Wasn't he the one who planned the murder of the 241 US Marines sent to be peacekeepers in Beirut. If so, anyone who mourns him is a traitor to the United States.
