Foiled NY Terror Plot – Sophisticated Homegrown Jihad

The recent foiled terror plot is further proof of sophisticated homegrown Jihad, where Radicals seek to undermine American freedoms from within.

The Third Jihad: Radical Islam’s Vision for America, portrays Radical Islam in America and the emerging risk that this homegrown Jihad poses to national security.

The film asserts that the spread of Islamic fundamentalism in America is a societal reality that cannot be ignored. The foiled terrorist attack in New York corroborates the message of The Third Jihad. Four terrorists were arrested yesterday in an attempt to blow up two synagogues in the Bronx, and shoot down a military plane. This is the definition of homegrown Jihad; Radical Muslims seeking to enforce a reign of terror inside America’s borders.

All of the terrorists were from Newburgh, an area in upstate New York with a growing Muslim population, located not far from Islamberg, a Muslim Enclave mentioned in The Third Jihad.

Prior to the foiled attack, the terrorists met up with an FBI informant at the Masjid al-Ikhlas mosquein Newburgh. The mosque is led by Imam Salahuddin Muhammad, also an Imam in the New York Prison System.

Muhammad was hired to the Corrections Department by Warith Deen Umar. Umar is a Radical who worked to indoctrinate criminals with anti-American ideology, as documented in The Third Jihad:

“Brothers, be prepared to fight, be prepared to die, be prepared to kill. It’s a part of the [faith], and this ain’t a brother just saying this, this is history, this is the Koran, nobody can deny it."

“You think that there’s no terror in Koran, it’s called irhab. Read it in the 56th (sic) of the Koran. There’s no lack of translation, there’s no mistranslation, there’s no one sheikh says one thing, no, it’s very clear. When you fight, you strike terror into the, into the heart of the disbeliever.”

Imam Salahuddin Muhammad has been known to circulate radical propaganda produced by Wahhabis within the prison system and was in direct contact with the terrorists.

Three of the four terrorists spent time in prison and then converted to Islam. Radical clerics have been converting convicts at an alarming pace.

New York City Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly was quoted in The Third Jihad: “About 18 percent at last count of prisoners in the New York State are Islamic.” This is several times higher than the national percentage of Muslims to the general population.

The threats are real. These terrorists were arrested while actually planting [what they thought to be] explosive material. They were planning the attack for over a year, and were in the act when arrested by police. The signs are out there. Muslims are converting in U.S. prisons and some are becoming radical. Muslims are plotting terrorist attacks from within.
